About

Procurement software stopped being built for the people who use it.

Somewhere along the way, enterprise procurement platforms became projects rather than products. Eighteen-month rollouts. Consulting phases before anyone runs a single RFQ. Approval rules locked behind IT tickets. And underneath all of it, a quiet assumption that suppliers should pay for the right to compete.

None of that is a law of physics. It's just what the incumbents built, and what everyone else learned to tolerate.

We didn't want to tolerate it.

Three things we refused to accept

Why we built it

01

That going live should take a year

Every month spent in implementation is a month of procurement still running on email threads and printed comparatives. We built KSource to be live in six to eight weeks — discovery and setup, workflow design, vendor onboarding, first RFQs running. While a legacy rollout is still in scoping, you're already awarding.

02

That changing a rule should require a developer

Approval routing is a business decision, not an engineering one. The people who own the process should be able to change it in the interface, the same afternoon they decide to. No ticket queue, no release cycle, no waiting.

03

That suppliers should pay to participate

Paid vendor networks shrink the bidding pool, and a shrunken pool means worse prices for buyers and a closed door for smaller suppliers. On KSource, vendors register and bid without paying to participate. Wider competition is better for everyone on both sides of the transaction.

How we think about trust

A fair process shouldn't be a promise. It should be the architecture.

Every procurement platform claims fairness. The question is whether anything enforces it.

On KSource, a bid seals the moment it's submitted. Nobody — not another vendor, not the buyer, not us — sees pricing before the deadline. Every action on the platform writes to a cryptographically sealed audit trail, so what happened is a matter of record rather than recollection. Tenants are hard-walled from one another.

These aren't features we added for a compliance checklist. They're the reason the rest of the product can be trusted to do what it says.

Sealed bidding

Pricing stays blind until the deadline—enforced by architecture, not policy.

Cryptographic audit

Every action writes to a sealed trail. What happened is a matter of record.

Hard-walled tenants

Organisations stay isolated. No shared spill across buyer environments.

Who it's for

Organisations that buy seriously — and the suppliers who serve them

Buyers

Running structured sourcing across departments, who need control, auditability and a vendor pool bigger than the list in someone's inbox.

For buyers →

Suppliers

Tired of finding out about opportunities too late, bidding into processes they can't see, and rebuilding the same profile for every new client.

For vendors →

Both sides of that relationship work better when they run on the same system. That's the whole idea.

Who we are

KSource is built by a team with 20 years of experience across enterprise procurement, security and technology.

Where we're going

Still early, deliberately

We're building this in the open with the organisations using it. Procurement is not a solved problem, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you a 2009 platform with a new logo. If you're running sourcing and something here sounds like your situation, we'd like to hear about it.
